My friends and I took a New Year Holiday leave for Shanxi from 29th Dec - 1st Jan. Generally we payed the visit to Pingyao City and the Wangs' Mansion. Here is the route:
- Day 1: Train N203 from Beijing to Pingyao departed at 1856 hrs
- Day 2: Arriving Pingyao at 0530 hrs. Stayed in TianYuanKui Hostel. Spent whole day in Pingyao city and the ShuangLin (two forrest) Temple.
- Day 3: Took a 30 minutes train from Pingyao to Jiexiu. And then by #11 bus from Jiexiu Train station, we arrived to the Wangs' Mansion and spent half day there. After a two and half hours bus, we got to Taiyuan City. Due to the transportation limitation in the holiday season, we decided to go back to Beijing by bus at 2230 hrs.
- Day 4: Arrived Beijing in the morning.
